First time the elves have come and they brought caged animals. I look in the first and see... stray two-humped camel corpse. These bastards whine about how something suffered before I got the leather off it while they bring animals in such terrible conditions that they're dead by the time they arrive!

The same applied to the stray mule they brought along. The smaller animals they had were fine, though. They also happened to have excessive weight from the start, so trading with them was rather impossible in my situation.

If I'm not mistaken it's a known bug related to temperature.. basically it's too cold on your map and they freeze before they get to the depot.

I had hoped it would be fixed, but I guess not
