I just cranked out a couple seasons in which nothing of import happened.... it's a lot that you don't have to worry about when your dudes are basically high all the time

Also, apparently we started off with a breeding pair of donkeys, so we've got several donkeys and donkey foals wandering around the map. Since butchering takes work, we'll have to rely on goblins to keep their numbers under control. I don't think any gatecrashers brought donkeys with them, so they're all descended from the same pair. Meaning if the goblins don't kill enough of them, we may end up overrun by incestuous donkeys.


Another caravan showed up; sadly we have only empty barrels to trade. Hopefully they brought enough booze!

EDIT: They did bring enough booze, but we didn't have enough to buy much food. Now it's Spring of the third year, and food is almost out! Let's hope we can compete with the cats for the local birds and lungfish.
A black bear tried to despoil us of our valuable booze, but bayar took it out with his spear. It did manage to maul a hapless dwarf in the arm, though, causing some serious nerve damage.

Our broker just threw a tantrum and killed Deviled - and broke Urist's upper spine as well. This party is getting a lot more Fun!

Figures the first two to get hurt would be named dorfs.

Annnnd Mundeyja went berserk. And he has a -bismuth bronze spear-...

Well, he went down easily under the press of a fort's worth of dwarves with plenty of brawling experience. And then the expidition leader, in a tantrum, beheaded one of the wrestlers.

TANTRUM SPIRAL MANIA! I want to swoop down and take the most experienced dwarf! Do you have Dwarf Therapist? Maybe you could show me a screenie of the military section.

Yay! Mundeyja died! Now his purpose is complete. I wonder if the game will last long enough for ghosts to appear.

Well, I don't have Dwarf Therapist, but there's only 8 dwarfs left alive. Of those, only Bayar, myself, and Hydrall are named; the other guys died somewhere in the tantrum spiral. And Bayar and Hydrall are melancholy.

There is a Proficient Swordsdwarf lying around, though, and not terribly unhappy either. Fortunately, almost nobody has friends.

elizar, since Mundeyja went berserk before being taken down, I feel obliged to inform you that there is a decent chance he will arise as a violent ghost, bring death and destruction to whatever's left of the party. Seems like something you should know. ^__^

We're now down to three functioning dwarves, only one of which (ottottott) is named. The others are all dead or insane. At least we have lots of clothes to trade!

I can do that. Your dorf, sadly, went berzerk, as did another of the last remaining three - the sole sane dwarf, though, was able to take them both down, and is the only hope for keeping this party going. There is still booze though.

Actually, you might have BEEN one of the hippy chicks; I didn't pay much attention to gender when dorfing people.

Anyway, I'll give this another crack later tonight. It'll be a reclaim, which'll help - plenty of stuff to trade!
