I don't see how that's relevant. I watch pub & competitive gameplay videos for both console and PC every week and in pub servers there are a lot of name calling going on in both sides.

No, It's the fact that Console communities have a larger degree of idiots (Consoles are easier to get into for several reasons) who happen to base respect on how many vulgar comments one can make in a single playthrough. PC gamers don't have that, as they are more into the game usually and as such breed elitists who attack and condemn such behaviour and as thus segregate others from their own world of online play.

It's a joke that explains the whole debate really.

Ah, gotcha. I was confused as to whether the PC elitists were calling out other PC players or if they were dishing it out to console players. I understand now. Makes sense, too. Too bad I don't play consoles online, so I can't really give much to that.
