Well, my i still keep suspicions from Zath, and Argem got lynched and flipped town.  I don't have a problem admitting i don't currently have suspicion strong enough to cast a vote, does not mean i won't keep searching.

Bandwagon is mostly Org. It's also a pretty blatant OMGUS, but again it's Org, and i'm almost get's off being lynched.

Screwed up on Argembarger.  I'll blame not having time over the holiday season. So it goes.

So, you're saying that if you had more time you would've realized that Argembarger had been town? But you had enough time to go through all his posts and list a bunch of crap reasons for why you said you suspected him. You would think time enough to make a detailed case on somebody is time enough to get a decent enough read on them.

Read Zathras' post (at the end) and MBP's post (part f and after). It's a scumtell because new players tend to drop scumtells like mad and get lynched for it and you have to correct for that.

I'll admit it's unlikely, but it's possible.  When I first made the case, I thought it was a decent read on him.  Mostly through talking with him at the end of the day started to change my mind.  But I've learned not to change my vote that near the end of the day without a *really* good reason (you saw it happen to Zathras in the first Sorcerer's Apprentice), so I stuck with it.

Believe what you will though, although I'd prefer you not lynch me over it.

Almost 24 hours into the day and Zathras, Toaster, and Jokerman-EXE havn't posted... Zathras and Toaster haven't posted since before the day start. Neither generally has a problem with lurking, so no problem here.

But Jokerman-EXE? He's has the time to at least post twice each in BYOWH and BYOR5.5 without gracing us with his presence... Not shiny.

Yes. Why wouldn't you be, given all the other circumstances you've used to explain being totally dead wrong about Argembarger? If you didn't have enough time to make good posts and that negatively affected your play, wouldn't that extend to your scum game and as well as your town game? You can't have it both (or more) ways.

Regardless this a bunch of WIFOM anyway so I'm going to ignore it.

Apologies for lack of posting. I've been under the weather and only now coming back to life. I'll make a more in-depth post later or tomorrow, but in short:

JanusTwoface, you are scum. I've read your multiple squirming attempts since the day started, but you have not addressed my pending questions from yesterday. I want more than "oh, I was wrong, I thought he was scum, oh shucks". I want specific answers to your clearly spurious and fallacious comments about how Arg went for "easy lynches", how people wouldn't guard someone who they think is town, how "distracting" is a scumtell, how your Arg case was loaded on the early game and what that meant, why did you think MBP was town (do you still?), and so on. A misread on someone causing an accidental mislynch is one thing. A case based on bullshit and made up reasons, with clearly fabricated lists of "evidence", about which you refuse to answer questions, on the other hand, is the work of scum. You are scum.


Read on others and more details will come later or tomorrow. But a couple of quick questions:

Jim: Do you still think MBP is town? Do you have new reads on Org or Leafsnail?
Toaster: what is your read on Janus, Jim, MBP & ToonyMan?
ToonyMan: I would like to hear your opinion on Toaster, MBP, Leaf, and especially Janus, seeing you said this of Janus yesterday: Yeah he's more likely scum than not scum.; if you have changed your mind, why? If you haven't, is Dariush scummier?

Also Toony, for the record, that last minute jerking around of Arg before the end of the day was massively uncool. It doesn't matter if you or he is scum or town, you don't have to be an asshole about it.

I'm starting to have my doubts. It bugs me immensely that he suspects JTF but won't vote him, like he doesn't want to bandwagon on someone he knows is town. But his responses are satisfying enough, for now. He's on my watch list.

Org is playing exactly the same as he was during Day 1. He is still obvjestering to the max.

Leafsnail keeps talking about truth for some reason, but add to that that he's also lurking. The lurking isn't atypical of Leafsnail. It's annoying but not any reason to cause significant alarm for the moment.

As the day progresses my opinion on MBP and Leafsnail will probably sour if they don't do more.

I read your responses, and you failed to address several important points:
- Please justify your calling MBP town, with details. If you think my logic is faulty when calling him scummy, please point out why/how. Why didn't you even consider the "null tell" position?
- In that vein, I'm interested in you contrasting your case against Arg with my case against MBP. We seem to have seen similar levels of scumminess on our respective targets, and for similar reasons, yet we read them differently.

Didn't think that lynching him for claiming Kook was a good idea and there were far scummier targets. Ones that are still alive for that matter. Looking back, he is scummy, see the list here, again in a spoiler.

Questions for you:
- If at the end of the day the vote is tied between Arg and Org, and you have the deciding vote, where would you cast it? How about between Arg and Leafsnail, or Leafsnail and Jokerman?
- What is your current read of Toaster, Jim, Toony and Dariush?
- Ahem: do you think policy lynches are scummy? (not that a policy lynch is what is advocated for MBP now, but it seems to be part of what "bugs" you about Arg). Or is it only scummy when other people do it?
- Is your vote on Arg a pressure vote to get more from him, or a "he's scum, hang 'im" vote? Your other suspicions are Org (OK), and two unknowns (Leaf: "not enough content", and Joker: "is he even playing?"). Do you actually suspect those last two? Would you vote them if their activity doesn't increase or as pressure to get them to talk, or are you content with the wagon vote? Do you have any suspicions on anyone else?

Here are my suspicion, updated for JTF grasping at straws

Lets get the lurking accusation out of the way first : Toaster, where are you ? Do you have a suite with Jokerman ? Do you guys plan to sit the whole game out or come back eventually ? I should probably add Leafsnail to that, he (she ?) does comment and participate, but not nearly enough to get a good read.

Org, somedays id just wish that simply lurked all the time. Or maybe posting content, but again, it's not happening anyday soon.

Jim: I stand behing my FoS. Day is long and id rather do a informed vote. From what i have seen on JTF till the day began hes headed for the noose. Accordingly

JanusTwoFace, I think staying in the shadows would have been much more profitable for you. You know, not getting pummeled with Zathras question ( that you simply deflect to your older post), explaining your recent problem as a Bandwagon , and not on general scummyness ( in my mind, the most important being you basically asking for a Warden or guardian to come forward, wich is basically something only a scum (or a veryyy noobish town, wich you aren't) would ask.

How could a guardian claiming do any good ? He may help confirm a townie  ( excluding the presence of more than 1 guardian, a warden or the like), but a half-confirmed townie aint worth shit next to a guardian role. The same extend to the warden. You may find scum( and again, way too many way to foil it) but it's a rather high cost to pay.

Toonyman, i'd really like to see you do a good, heavy post. Right now it's mostly answering a few question then back to the shadow for a day or so.  Heres a few precision id like on your last post to get you started.
