Weaponizing a Dusk Freak

So I have a dusk freak, scouted the location with an adventurer--it's a feathered, four horned horror and it's mine---I walled the entrance to its cave. Now what to do with it? Having lost a prior fort to goblinite fps death, my plan was to seal in and explore the caverns while having the surface be a kind of controlled maze where the dusk freak could be introduced to a few goblins at a time, while encouraging the rest to leave me alone.  Any suggestions for design?  I'm used to water traps and cave-in traps and bronze collosi arenas, but how does one build a proper freak maze?

#=wall, _=floor, 1-5=drawbridges,entrance at north, fortress to south, rooms must be MUCH larger. Initially the freak is in, let's say right room.  The bridges 2,3 and 5 are raised, 1 and 4 lowered. You watch goblins charge in through the left room. Once they enter, raise 1,4, lower 3. Freak goes through 3 into left room, tears them to pieces. Raise 3, lower 2,5. Repeat ad infinitum (or until the freak dies :()

Awesome, I hadn't though of bridges, i bet i could make a nice pp grid and automate.

Turn an entire z level into a labyrinth, then drop it in and make a pit trap for goblins.

Then perform your best evil laugh as they run around the maze, only to be devoured by that which dwells within.

Now the goblins will know why they fear the night.

Are they really that powerful? You've only got one, I feel like it would be better to feed nobles to it than heavily-armed goblins that have a chance against it.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to use an actual minotaur for that? Or do labyrinths count under "cannot embark here" rules?

I've slain a lot of night creatures by bisecting them at the waist, even with short swords. You should probably strip your goblins before you throw them in.
