I need a room I can lock some dwarves in with food and drink. So they can chill.

How do I fill a room with a fixed amount of food?

Two stock piles, one for only food, one for only booze, set them to have the same number of tiles as number of barrels you want of each.

Also build some tables and chairs, and designate a room from one of the tables, and mark it as Meeting Hall. Then they will come and hang out.

Designate an area as a garbage pit, and then build your party room below that. Dump the food and booze ya want, and, after reclaiming, the party room has all its food and drink it needs! Voila!

On second thought, you can put a farm and a still in there anyway, for 1/0 amounts of party-hard.
