As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

I use my ship's cannon of +3 deadliness to attack the chryssalids aboard the space train, getting a +3 boost to deadliness from the +3 cannon of deadliness on my fun starship.

ATTACK [4] You activate the nuke, and then run towards some Chryssalids, screaming.
DEFENCE [4] However, they are much faster than you, managing to run far enough away to not get killed.

You, on the other hand, are close enough to get killed.

live with the Chryssalids until i become A HALF-BREED!!!!!

You live with the Chryssalids, in an attempt to become a half-breed. [6] However, before you can become a half-breed, you must survive the caverns of trials. Armed with nothing but a spear, you enter the cavern. It's dark and damp, like all caverns should be.

Also, is that your father hiding in the shadows?

Item get: Spear. (+1 to attack)

using the fortresses exterior and interior automated defence cannons, DESTROY ALL CHRYSTALIDS

You introduce advanced technology to the snakemen. [2] Once one of them cuts your leg off with a laser, you decide that maybe giving them advance technology isn't a good idea.

Eck, Yow, Maap! -1 health.

Effect gained: 1 Leg (-1 to movement, +1 to acting like a pirate.)


Preemptively impregnate the Chryssalid Commander.

[1] The Chryssalid Commander preemptively stops your attempt to impregnate him by blowing your freaking brains out with a plasma pistol. It's highly effective.

Using the ultimate fedora power order Space Mafia  to attack the Chryssalids.

[3] Your attempts at summoning the Space Mafia fail, and you only summon the regular Mafia.

Item get: Mafia

I use my ship's cannon of +3 deadliness to attack the chryssalids aboard the space train, getting a +3 boost to deadliness from the +3 cannon of deadliness on my fun starship.

DEFENCE [3]Good news: You killed a large chuck of Chryssalids. Bad news: At the same time, you also kill all of the Mafia members. Way to go.

With the Mafia dead and the attempts at killing them spotty at best, (There's only so much one +3 cannon of deadliness can do) the Chryssalids storm up the Space Train.

ATTACK [7] Along the way they attack Tyberix.
DEFENCE [6] Tyberix tries to dodge, but is distracted by a radioactive spider.

Instead of turning into a horrible mutant zombie, Tyberix changes into....

The Amazing Spider Chryssalid!

Medal get: The Amazing Boxcars!

Getting hit is still painful as hell.

Zop, Jool, Gah! -1 health.

MrNuke is instagibbed by the GM. The GM also decides to do something completely new and different.

He spawns the next player on the waiting list. (Krath) UristMcDwarf and mcclay join Krath, seeing as RedWarrior0 is now an irradiated blob on the ground, and HmH had no head.

Roll to Forge the World is on turn 25.
