Hah, knew that would happen. I hate Bioware, but not much. I hate EA for acquiring Bioware, oh so much. Wonder if the real endings (read: endings where your choices matter) would be shipped as Paid DLC?

Wouldn't surprise me if they were, knowing EA. Those guys probably look at Achievement Unlocked and think... "now there's a valid business idea! What? Building brand loyalty and customer appreciation? Pshaw... what nonsense is that! Clearly we need to milk our audience dry like the starving cattle that they are!"

I achieved all achievements.

I am not sure this is a thing to be proud of.

That game was totally awesome anyway.

There's no proof that EA is responsible for the game's quality. What they did was giving Bio more resources. There's no evidence that they changed anything else, no interview (that I know of) states that. Stop hateful speculations, talk about real facts. You're ranting like some anti-semitist idiot (oh I bet the jews are behind this, they're behind everything!)

Actually, iirc, EA bought Bioware together with another dev studio, with the goal that they should bring in a certain amount of revenue together. They then shafted the other studio, leaving Bioware with having the workload of two companies. In my opinion, the rushedness of DA2 and how ME2 was a much smaller (if a bit more focused, which I guess is good rather than bad) game than the Bioware standard, is pretty obvious consequences of this.

If you wonder, my source for this was an article linked on the Iron Tower Studio's forums. I searched for it, but couldn't find the post again.

You have a 360, DH? If so, do you want the two-day Gold trial code that came with my copy of ME3? I still have several months left, so I don't need it. ^^^ I mean, yeah, it's only two days, but better than nothing. :P

Seriously? That'd be great, man. Send me a PM, and whatever your gamertag is so I can add you.

It might be, though there's always a fuss when one company buys another. EA could be guilty of this as much as not guilty, let's not witch hunt when we don't have the facts and not turn this into a EA hate thread.

Why are you so fixated on jews? You keep bringing them up for some reason. Also I'd hardly call inferring that EA rushed ME3 and is now going to DLC all the problems away " hateful speculation"

I am fixated on jews because I am constantly surrounded by people who just love the good ol' prejudice, that's kinda backwards. I'm just saying that under the new management maybe Ray Muzyka is under stress that he might be replaced if he doesn't give the numbers, just an example how EA may affect people without the intention. Also, it was stated in an interview that EA didn't impose any new rules or anything (which was met as PR propaganda, what's with not-paranoic people these days), so this might as well be Bioware screwing up and EA being the scapegoat. This may be the fact that TOR is out and Bioware is putting many resources into it. It may be anything. Your guess is as good as mine. I know that EA doesn't have a perfect slate, but what he was saying about ripping people off is just hateful speculation, not unlike antisemitic rants. EA made some (read: lots and lots of) dumb decisions but what he stated is beyond that.

Pointless joking complaint #1: All I'm saying is if you have to have a club location on the Citadel, why not bring back the Flux? :P I miss that oddly repetitive tune sometimes (seriously, it's like an updated Torgo theme), and everyone loves callbacks. :D

Experiences by people who've recently left the company seem to suggest that BioWare is suffering heavily from large expansions to the size of their staff. Before they functioned in smaller units capable of taking in and processing the opinions of all of the constituent team members. Now, due to the very large and swift expansion of the teams across all fronts, taking individual team members' opinions in is unfeasible and all decisions are made from the top.

Ergo, stupid decisions from the top remain stupid rather than being called out by people lower in the chain.

Guys, EA sucks. They really do. it's no longer a point of debate. They do this kind of crap pretty consistently. Our hatred of EA is based on recent experiences.

Lies! As far as I know, EA hasn't not-screwed a game in some way since Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (But I'm still bitter that "EA, Challenge everything." was unskippable and slowly took over my mind.").

Well, in actual Mass Effect 3 related discussion, I've been soloing MP for about an hour now (starting a private game and not inviting anybody, I mean. :P I can't play with people right now because other peeps are using the internet and the lag would be too much) and on Firebase Giant (Tuchanka) with Reaper enemies I managed to get to Wave 7 with my Level 17 Salarian Infiltrator. Oh my God do I love Prox Mines. The only weapon I had was the Phalanx (Lv1 Extended Barrel and Lv1 Scope mods) to get the 200% power recharge bonus. I only managed Wave 4 on Firebase Ghost (Benning, I think is the name of the planet) with my Quarian Engineer...

Which brings me to a question. Is it possible to respec your MP characters? Because I seriously regret taking the flamethrower upgrade for the final level of Sentry Turret...
