For me, doing something boring for 15 minutes is grinding, it's not that I can spend my whole day on video games, having exams and stuff, so though I can't say that it's a shitty decision, it could've been better.

To get the upgrades in ME2 required about a thousand times as much grinding as this. You're making a mountain of a molehill. Instead of scanning for resources, they just give you the upgrades directly for scanning. I like this way a LOT more even if it's far from perfect.

As for the Tali image..I haven't actually seen that in-game yet, can anyone confirm that's even really there? Disappointingly lazy but honestly people are looking for the slightest reason to get pissed these days in gaming.

Goddamnit, it took me nearly one hour to import my ME2 save, from my xbox to the PC, and get it detected by ME3. >_<

But it worked (apart from the head who couldn't be imported...hm). I tried to recreate my shepard's head from memory, but it's not quite the same. :/

What I am not statisfied about, to be exact, is the fact that you have to do the storyline perfectly PLUS a boring scan mission. This applies to ME2 too. And I'm not making a big deal out of this, it's just that it is boring and takes time. Nowhere did I state that this is shit, I guess they wanted to encourage the multiplayer portion, while not entirely taking away the good ending by playing single player solely.

I take it you haven't seen the sort of Tali fanboys that inhabbited the bioboards before ME3. I think it's just those guys raging right now. :P

So what exactly is wrong about using a stockphoto for your content? That's why stockphoto's exist.

I'm neither a Tali fanboy or raging, but I am facepalming pretty hard at how stupid it is.

Because it is lazy and boring, and that Taliens look just like humans is silly, unimaginative, and well, also boring.

Why this hate for Origin? o_O

Sounds just like all the usual hate for Steam... HMMMM...

Steam has never had me jump through idiotic hoops. You register your account and that's it.

Whenever a publisher goes "HI GUISE! I GOTS A NEW STORE LOLZ." I just picture the fucking circus I had to go through with Rockstars mess that was GTAIV on PC. M$ Live, Rockstar Social Club etc. Was shit.

Even ME2 had a bit of this as I recall, you had to register somewhere to get your "SPECIAL VERY SRS DUDE NPC" you got when you bought it through Steam, and I remember it as a hassle. I don't want to go through that again.

I can see the chain of thought behind using a high profile game like ME3 to grow your latest outlet, but you better make damn fucking sure all the baby diseases are ironed out or you will get the badwill you're due for pulling a dick move like this.

Oh god... this is getting hard to play. Everyone is dying. So suddenly, no foreshadowing at all. All my favorite characters are just getting eliminated one after the other. Even people I couldn't even imagine dying.

I'm getting this too :(

I think her face is just a joke by the devs, it's just too silly. Also, I've managed to edit the game files so that I don't have to look everything up anymore, I've compensated the 50% thingy by making the salarian fleet worth 3000 points, I don't know if I should feel like cheating or not, but scanning is second priority now. Not to mention that some of the mini-quests are broken.

You know, I expected casualties. It's been played up that war will be ugly. But
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
has made me hate them more than the reapers. Seriously, I will destroy every last one I can find.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

I just don't have anything to say about this.

They're angry at this but not the new news chick? I don't know what went wrong with the render, but I'm convinced she's made of nightmares. I can't even stand looking at her for the two minutes it would take to kick her off my ship.

You could always save her from this fate by letting the reapers kill her in ME2.

Or something I just found:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Dude, I wonder if there's ways to save other members that die.

What do you expect? That a coder goes around photographingc pretty women? No, they outsource that stuff. I just don't see how buying a photograph of a woman because you need one for your game can be called lazy.

Although I haven't got game yet (Because I'm sticking to the boycott and waiting for some kind of "Game of the year" edition with all DLC so I can get the full game), I do find the whole Tali and Quarians looking like Humans thing dissapointing. Not rage worthy, but dissapointing. I've always imagined the Quarians as a kind of Lizard-ish race, and I think I would've perfered their faces remaining a mystery.

But since thats only with the Tail romance arc and I normally play Chaste Shepard I really have nothing to worry about. :P
