What kind of vampires did Oblivion have? The vampires of Cyrodiil are supposed to be indistinguishable from living people as long as they feed often enough.

Well, apart from the age bug (which wasn't meant to be there) and the fangs, they were.

Sounds about right. Well, except for the dead giveaways (heh heh) like pale skin, sunken cheeks, glowing red eyes, and fangs visible whenever they speak.

And ass-ugly faces, although that was an affliction many normal citizens faced. It was particulerly bad on the vampires though.

And despite wearing a helmet covering your face people could smell the vampire in you, so there's that.

People don't seem to care what you wear (or don't wear) in these games anyways, which they could probably fix...

I just like my idea that the vampires in this world absolutely reek, so even if they can't tell that's the stench of a vampire they don't want to get near you anyway.

On the topic of wearing things, remember when people in Morrowind would say nice things to you if you were wearing expensive gear?

Never before have I seen such horrible combination skin in my life. Many of them look like burn victums.

Or chastise you for not wearing anything at all.

If I remember, they'd even insult your dress sense if you wore rags.

Damn, I can't believe Oblivion got rid of that.

Oblivion got rid of a lot of things.
My personal take on the matter is that everything that was shit in Morrowind, Oblivion fixed (or at least improved significantly). And everything that was great, it fucked up.

Except for combat. Fighting still sucked. At least it looked better, I guess. :P

We should go back to the Daggerfall system, that was always fun.

Well, modify it a bit I guess.

No way Bethesda'll do it though, it'll be too 'challenging' for people. Pfff.

I think bows suck less and less with each Elder Scrolls game.
