I wonder if the Nerevarine gets mentioned again. It's said in TES4 that he went to Akavir. Maybe he has parties with the monkey peoples.

No way. His going to Akavir is obviously Bethsoft's way of getting him out of the way and making sure that you'll never be able to meet him in any of the future games.

He's probably died in the space 200 years anyway, he's likely an Imperial. Elves like the Nerevarine can live up to 1000 years.

He's a Daedric Prince. They live forever.

There's no canon on what race the Nerevarine was, right? So if an elf s/he could easily still be alive.

But yeah, the Akavir thing was just a way to avoid having to portray the character. Although I could see them having some easter egg NPC who is hinted to be the Nerevarine.

Now what's all this business about double fisting? UH, about dual wielding? And spell crafting being out, wtf?

Doesn't the corprus render him immortal, regardless of race?

I think that killing them usually only moves them from one plane to another.

The Nerevarine? He was created/reincarnated/whatever by Azure, a Daedric prince but I haven't heard anything about him being a Daedric prince.

He probably dies some crappy death by Tsaeci or something anyway, if the Akavir thing is to remove him from the picture.

Wait, what? I don't remember anything about that. Where are you getting that from?

Hardly anyone knew who he was even when face to face with him, though.

And unless we come across someone completely cloaked who only says "Name", "Rumours" and "Goodbye" in text only, then I doubt we'll ever come across any previous protagonist.

I think that killing them usually only moves them from one plane to another.

Not exactly...since they can be in many places at once, that being part of what defines a god. So killing them is equivalent to banishing them from the plane in question, but since the planes overlap, it is possible for them to extend their influence to the plane they were killed in to cause a ~resurrection. To kill one of the princes with the same permanency as a mortal, one would need to completely remove their plane from this one; both all examples of their domain and all concepts of their domain. For "Sheogorath", it would mean wiping out all instances and all concepts of "insanity"...does this sound reasonable to you?
There is certainly conquest among the Deadra, but because of the above immortality, it is better described as absorbtion and division of domains. Such as how Sheogorath is not only of much "madness", but also of some bipolar "good" and "evil".

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.
