Sure. In that case, could I change my skill to brawling?

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Jacen...I suggest +1 Alligator Wrestling (still useful against non-alligators)

Applications still open? If so...

Name: Carl Trent
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Occupation: Botanist
Why they brought you: The expedition needed someone with expertise in the types of plants one would find in a jungle, just in case.
+1 Skill: Botany
Inventory: PDA for filing information, survival guide pocketbook, kit for chemical analysis, machete for hacking away at particularly uninteresting bits of plantlife such as annoying vines, cell phone w/ headset attachment for hands-free usage.

CHAPTER 1 - ENTERING THE CAVERN

After a long, hot, humid, sweaty trek through the jungle, you have arrived at your destination. You've heard the locals call this place something like "Head of the dragon," and you can see why, for the cavern opens up out of a hill like a great toothy maw.  Your intrepid team leader says, "It's hard to believe we didn't find this place before. But we have now!" He turns to his group, smiling broad. "Everyone ready to go in?!"

Begin!

Sure, sure...Head of the dragon? Sounds promising! Guided tours and merchandising rights...

Action: Sally follows the guide into the cave.

*SNAP*
This is a picture of the "Head of the Dragon", the entrance to the cavern. Ominous darkness stretches ahead into the entrance, wherein juts toothsome rocks.

Seems like a nice place... Kinda creepy though.

Hmm. I'd should've thought to bring a flashlight...
Action: Trent looks for wood and local fauna that will both burn easily and for a long time to fashion a torch from.

Jones heads into the cave, keeping an eye out for any traps or other dangers that might endanger the group.

Hmm. I'd should've thought to bring a flashlight...
Everyone has this along with the stuff they chose :
Wrist-worn mini-GPS which can locate other wrist-worn mini-GPSes. Basic spelunking gear (length of rope, helmet with light, high-grip boots, etc.)  Basic rations (Bottled water and simple nonperishable packaged foods.) Two-way radio. Flares.

"Well, seeing as you forgot yours Trent, you should be glad I brought an extra." Sally says condescendingly, tossing him the spare flashlight underhanded.

Turn on helmet flashlight when it gets too dark. (If what I said is considered minor enough) Proceed into cavern with Intrepid Team Leader.
