Age of Fairy Tales?
« on: December 11, 2010, 03:10:14 pm »

I love genning smaller/pocket worlds, they always have strange ages like this.
What does it mean, though? It was after the Twilight age, and I thought that was when everyone started dying.
What's the oddest age you've ever seen?

I believe the age of fairy tales occurs when all the non-mundane creatures are extinct other than a handful of them. So you most have some mythical beasts running around, but there so rare most humans don't think they are real. Probably kobolds.

Picture a dwarf, warrior, mechanic, or some other incredibly useful profession. Now picture him dead. That's what infections do.

Really? That's pretty interesting.
Edit: I looked through it in Legends, and there are three ages of fairy tales. Each one has the humans attacking a dwarven or an elfin civ.
