Okay so apparently Australia has a vidya game bar.

Has anyone heard of anything like this before, and is there any legislation that would stop this in the States?

That's Yahtzee's bar, isn't it? And that's the only reason why its famous? Cause these things are like all over the place. Auckland has a nice one I spent a good deal of time at, but unfortunately the bar was closed before 5 so I usually couldn't partake in their cheap drinks, so I generally only stopped by before then.

Never heard of something like this, but I don't think there is any legislature specifically banning this sort of thing.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Well, that's good news, anyway. With that kind of synergy I can probably leave out the chicken's blood when I attempt to summon Goridringaxz, Demon of Glitches.
Make sure you're in Glitch City with an entire team of Glitch pokemon to sacrifice if you're trying to summon him. :)

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

We used to have a chain of these in the Midwest USA from around 2002-2005ish. The chain's name escapes me; I think it was GamesSpace or something to that effect. Unfortunately, said chain was horribly mismanaged and their entire business strategy was based around Halo 1 not having XBox Live support. Once Halo 2 came out, the entire chain went bankrupt within 6 months. Their Bawls and Vodka cocktail was great, as I recall.

You're in luck!  It's not exactly the same thing, but Ground Kontrol in Portland was a blast when I went a few years back.

Their liquor license is beer and wine only, but that's plenty for me.  Nothing like watching your pinball skillz spiral down the tubes as the night and the IPAs go on.
