you need a level of SOLID rock RIGHT below where you want it to stop. an entire z-level of un-dug rock below every square.

so please do it farther from your fortress and SAVE FIRST!

so to consolidate that .. if i create a cave in to stop it at (including) z-21 i need z-21 and z-22 be solid .. or would z-22 and z-23 need to be full solid?

ok just tested my self .. the target level just needs to have at least 1 level solid ground below then its cool (so in above example z-22 and z-23) thanks for the guide
