So I accidentally unpaused while using dfreveal. You all know what happens when that happens, right? Well, despite the horde of chocolate brutes and banshees of tears milling about in the depths, my FPS, instead of buggering off to drink itself braindeaddwarven, it actually increased. It literally went from 10ish to a minimum of 25.

I am fucking BAFFLED.

Your computer itself can't wait to see your fortress swarmed with the many clowns you've now revealed to it, and thusly is devoting the majority of its processing power to rushing you toward this fate.

Calculating demons takes power?
Maybe now that the demons are there, and there location is too small for path finding to do real damage, things get a little better.

And THERE'S the lag I've been expecting. Been stuck at 2 FPS for the last few minutes. If I didn't always play with [SPEED:1] this would almost be unplayable. And I just got done with the housing district, too.

Not a single one of my axedwarves is above Talented. I don't plan on opening the circus until I have a minimum of 30 master axedwarves.

It really doesn't help that I only have the one adamantine tube.

You should feel lucky...  I can't explore my lowest caves because there's a bottomless pit that reveals Hell in the middle of it.
