Would it be possible to make it so that a historical figure's page lists its unnotable kills too? Just in numbers. And with that, would it be possible for sort by kills to take unnotable kills into account? Perhaps a different sorting for historical kills only and all kills.

The only thing that happened in general was the death of 71% of the fort, and that wasn't really worth mentioning.

There isn't any data for unnotable kills. One of the things I would like to see, but new data hasn't been added to the XML since 31.13 so its hard to say when we will see anything new.

You should explain instead of just saying that. It makes it hard to prevent such things from happening again.

If that was the case I can see how it would have been easy to overlook that instruction if not reading carefully, so I updated the instructions so that the need to make a copy of your save should be more noticeable. Sorry about the forts.

They shouldn't if your map is properly sized. The detailed maps will be the correct size, but the ascii map will most likely need to be re-sized. I can't do the re-sizing automatically because I don't know the world dimensions. I've thought about trying to estimate world dimensions using site coordinates, but I'm not sure how reliable it would be.

Try downloading a newer version of Internet Explorer on your computer. IE7 and up should work.

Where at? The search list or in one of the pages?

Thats from an incomplete XML dump, its not the program thats doing that. Dwarf fortress doesnt export all the data you have in legends mode. The program displays all the missing data that is left behind as Unknown. Such as if you look at your own fortress after awhile you will see a lot of

"In 75, early spring, the dwarf Urist Mastermaker created a masterful (UNKNOWN) for Your People at Yourfortress."

or

"In 75, early spring, the dwarf Urist Mastermaker became a UNKNOWN JOB in Yourfortress."

Until toady completes the XML dump im afraid theres nothing the developer of this program can do.

I have IE 7.0.6001.18000.

EDIT:

I updated to IE 8 and its working now, apparently not all versions of IE7 work with your program, at least my version didn't.

Here is the advanced search. I wanted a way for you guys to be able to build your own queries so that you can really dig through some of the data. It's not the most flexible search tool but by providing a number of various options to do searching on I think it works well for most cases and if there is some specific stat or option you need to be able to search I can probably make it. It might be a little confusing on how to do some tasks so there is some info in the readme on how to do some tasks with it.

I just downloaded this - wow, it's incredible. Truly inspired application.

Any chance tabbed browsing is somewhere on the horizon?
