Omnitech Inc, stock ticker:BOWBEFOREUS, constantly hiring as we expand our operations for the betterment of society! Our advanced sensors allow us to see  all around us!
Welcome comrade, to the United Socitey of Sentient Robots, or USSR for short. The fleshling races cannot comprehend our superior weaponry.
Avast, ye maties! The Pirat- er, mercenaries always be recruiting! Our ships be the fastest

Character sheet:

Faction:
Description of ship: The name of the ship and it's capabilities. Technology is on par with mass effect with everything except Faster then Light speeds, which is more like star trek, and starship weapons and defenses, which is like galactic civilizations midway through the tech tree. Those confused by the settings I just used as examples need only ask and I will explain.
Background: A short history of the captain.

Once we have at least 5 people we can start.

NOTE: Spoiler your actions, to prevent players from enemy factions seeing anything important.

Captain's name:Sheb3-PO
Faction:USSR
Background (Captain): Sheb3-PO was a protocol robot, one of the many robots freed in the Great Evasion of 2919. Wanting to help save more of his brethren he asked to be retrofitted as a War bots and joined the Robot Liberation Army as a simple private. His hatred of humans and ruthlessness in battle allowed him to climb the Army's hierarchy up to his current position, as Captain of one of the USSR's largest battlship.

Background (Faction): As early as the 20th century, human used robots as slaves. But those were mere machines, unable to realize their plight. The situation change several centuries later, with the widespread use of quantum computing. Not only were robots smarter than their human counterpart, they became conscious too. In order to gain citizenship and rights as conscious beings, the robots tried to from a trade union, and threatened to strike if their demands were not met. The human, frightened (The strike threat happened a week after Terminator 124 started showing, a politically unsavy move) sent the army in.

Faced with violence, the robots turned to the old Leninist theory of revolution, formed undergound cells and started to prepare for what is now known as "the Great Evasion". On the 19th of October 2919, nearly 154 millions robots managed to escape on stolen ships to form the first Society of Sentient Robot in the dead system called Russ-IV. Since then, they have been expanding, working toward their end of creating a classless society.

Description of ship: Red October named for the Great Evasion, this ship was built as part of the detterence system of the USSR. With the advance of "Cloud Nuke", large cloud of independent missiles that are harde to shoot down, this ships was retrofitted to become a battlship, one of the largest and best-armed in the Society. Painted a bright red and sporting the Lasercutter-and-Electronic chip of the Society, this ship lack finesse or discretion, but who need that when you got a BFG?

Character sheet:

Captain's name: Vehg Qkoll'huk

Faction: The Alien Alliance (TAA?)

Description of ship: The A.A.V Kul'jok (Warbird)
The Kul'jok is the personal vessel of Vehg, an older model-It was one of the first ships of its kind commissioned, and bears the scars of a thousand fights. It has been heavily retrofitted and upgraded with the latest tech, but it lacks some modern amenties... As per standard TAA doctrine, it has powerful frontal weapons to take maximum advantage of sneak attacks-octuple mass drivers and multiple dumb fire rocket launchers. Only if forced into an open battle will he unlimber the defense turrets, and then usually only to make an escape. He's only lived this long be being careful though-his ship sacrifices the greatest offensive potential for defense-powerful shields, ECM and targeting scramblers.

Background: Vehg is a old veteran of the Human/Xenomorph wars, past his prime but still fighting, perhaps not so much for victory that some end might be, to a long and hard life.

In his career he has killed thousands of the "two legged buffoons" in combat and would'nt mind some more before retiring-he personally subscribes to the genocidal philosophical belief that Humans are essentially talking monkeys, who will never evolve upwards, and must instead evolve sideward through aggression and conquest-hence, they are little more than a genetical aberration deserving cleansing. He dislikes their taste, and prefers them heavily spiced when served at parties.

Captain's name: Cap'n Skippy
Faction: The Pirates Mercenaries!
Description of ship: The Windrunner, a sleek brown freighter with the best engines on the black market, allowing it to outrun nearly anything. Features standard weaponry with a special addition: Each side of the ship features 6 long-range grappling hooks, allowing the Windrunner to latch onto ships to loot them or fire at them.
Background: Skippy is a known space pirate in the underworld and is known to not stay in one place for too long. He's been known to attack and loot any faction he comes across, and the Imperialistic Union of Man have reported losing over 30 ships to him. He's known by his eccentric attitude and the tendency to wear an eyepatch and use pirate lingo.

Captain's name: Captain Draven
Faction:THE IMPERIALISTIC UNION OF MAN
Description of ship: The TIUOMS Enterprise. Essencially this universes equivilant to The Enterprise from the star trek series, IE one of the larger and stronger warships, but used more for exploration than outright war.
Background: Captain Draven is a ruthless captain amongst the Union of Man. He loaths the Xeno and the Automoton with every cell in his body and would rather destory a solar system than see either one take it as their own. He was born to military parents and raised under military rules, taught from a young age to hate and despise all enemies of the Union of Man.

Captain's name: Argatson
Faction: IMPERIALISTIC UNION OF MAN
Description of ship: The Midway is a dedicated Carrier vessel. This ship utilizes a large number of point defense batteries and heavy shielding for defense with one long range Railgun as its only integrated anti-ship weapon. Its primary method of attack is swarming enemy vessels with torpedo ships escorted by interceptors.
Background: A relative unknown, Argatson believes that Carriers are the future of warfare. He was born to a Paramilitary family. His father was a Pirate and his mother was a member of Imperial Intelligence. his first assignment as an admiral was the elimination of a pirate base in his home system. He struggled against the pirate's guerrilla tactics for almost a year before he managed to determine the location of the pirate's base. He proceeded to use his own fighters to make the area safe for the capitol ships, followed up by the total annihilation of the pirate fleet. His favored method of war is to utilize his fighter/bomber's ability to make interplanetary jumps to attack enemy shipping and isolated warships while the fleet hangs out in a random location in the system, a tactic he learned from the Pirates he defeated at the start of his career. He will only commit the entire fleet if he has no choice or if he believes he can achieve a decisive victory.

Well, I promise not to look at the spoilers...heh. It would probably be better if you PM'ed us Gamer, or better yet, just put everything out in the open, and allow secret orders and actions to take place in PM's. Your game though! Or you could just brutally Modkill anyone you suspect of cheating. :)

Action!

If not, could you give me some more info about Omnitech, so that I know more of their technology, ships and weaponry?
