Nirreln's Let's play: MoO2!!
« on: December 07, 2010, 07:39:14 pm »

So I've made a bunch of Minecraft let's play videos and I'd figure it's about time I shared them. The playlist is here http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=06CF5DA736087264 and I'll just keep adding new videos to that list as I upload them to youtube. I've also been thinking about doing other games and when do anything else I'll post the playlist here as well. Feel free to post any questions or comments and requests for any game you might like to see(I could list the games I currently own as well). Enjoy  8)

Seen 1 so far and you know gravel can be used as an anti-lava device, right?

Anti-lava device? I'm not familiar with that, so how that does it work?

Gravel is affected by gravity, and makes good paths for crossing lava pools or lava oceans. The gravity is also useful, as you can drop it down a hole to form a tower, then stand on it and dig down.

Place it above the lava. Instant missing lava. Truly wonderful.

Watched them all. A word of advise? Move the bucket chests to the obilisk site, and make a magma mine at the obilisk site. You'll save yourself insane amounts of time.

Not looking forward to moving all those buckets but it'll be easier if they are right next to where I'm working for sure. And I should be able to make a tunnel to the creeper hole if dig down on that island.

Edit: Crap just finished up but I guess the mic jack wasn't in enough and almost no sounds was recorded  >:(

I guess it's kind of like why people like roller coasters, it's fun to scare yourself. That is one of reasons I like to explore caves and sometimes you can neat lava/water falls.

The first three videos are boring!

I'll get back to this later.

Also, collect like fifty stacks of gravel, then use them to make a strong foundation for your floating castle.

YES Build you giant Floaing Castle ontop of land supported by a think single block wide and long pillar of gravel, a material that if a Creeper ever exploded next to would force the pillar to fall away just as quickly as it was placed...

Actually, this is a pretty good idea. I think if you set up a pressure plate at the bottom, then made a pillar of gravel up to the floaty castle, along with a wire trailing from the pressureplate to the top, then made the top a layer of tnt, you could have a creeper destroyed castle.
