I might be interested.
This will be my first succession game, but I would love to give it a go!
Could you first explain how long a turn is?
Also, if you dont mind, I would liked to be dwarfed. Maybe as the militia commander, with Any military skills (preferably axedwarf and others, armour use, fighting, etc) and the only other skill would be Masonry and mechanic.

Unless otherwise stated, a turn is usually a year in game, with a limit of approximately 3-7 days of real time.

In my opinion, I like a good place near a river with flux, trees aswell. Anything else is fine

I want to be Dwarfed (I might take a turn at some point) and I vote for somewhere that has the following:

Flux
Sand
Aquifer (Yes I want one for this fort.)
Granite layer (optional)

BONUS:  If it can be freezing in addition to possessing those previous attributes do it.

That is all. 

Oh yeah!  What Dwarf I want...I want an architect/engineer dwarf.  Because I am an architectural engineer (in training.  And a little bit unsure of whether or not I might go mechanical.  The point is I'm an engineer.)

I want to be the broker of the fort, and though not in charge of the military, I want to be part of it.

I also want to have a high agility rating if possible, and MALE.

Just curious, why would you ever want more than Novice appraiser? Novice gets you pretty much all the benefits, since it lets you sort by value.
