Error on starting DF

Dwarf Fortress.exe is not a valid win32 application.

I'm sadly, having to run win2k on this pc.  I can get this version to run on my laptop, but no luck with this one.

Any ideas?

No longer supported on Windows 2000, due to a recent change to the compiler (VS 2010, I think).
