Glad to see I brought life back to this thread.
I listened to Sleep Is Wrong again.

When I grow up I'm never gonna sleep
When I grow up I'm never gonna cry
When I go out I'm never coming home
When I grow up I'm never gonna die

I love that part. It's like watching a person's whole descent into insanity in four lines of lyrics. In the first line we feel the fear and paranoia, in the second line - the trauma and possible abuse, in the third line - how the person's hurt, a quiet bitter anger and finally, in the fourth line he completely loses his grip of reality.

And now I feel like a psychological literature analyzer guy. I don't know who's weirder - the band or me.

PS: MM, did the ending get you? I admit it got me the first time.

I wish I weren't so picky about music. It's hard finding metal which is heavy, has really powerful guitars and lots of solos, but sing in low-pitched growl or clean vocals (instead of Death/Black metal screaming or the more high pitched growling) and aren't power metal (hate you so much >.> )

Agree so hard.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I thought I was the only one.

Anyway, not listening to anything at the time. Would listen if I knew more good bands.

Something along the lines of the heavier productions of Alestorm?

Slower and darker would be preferable. Also I dislike viking/pirate/ninja (forget that band ever existed) or any other warrior culture specific metal. Though I haven't heard a lot so there could be exception. I would prefer something that's closer to pure metal. Yeah I'm very picky about music. Did I mention I absolutely hate most genres that aren't metal? Classic music is an exception, because I feel all music owes something to it, and so is jazz music, because it needs a lot of skill and is organic. I don't listen to those, but I can stand them easily unlike say rap or techno.
