Lava Blood.
« on: December 05, 2010, 07:43:41 pm »

I have created a civ made of Adamantine, Slade and Steel Colossi.

I want to give them lava/magma for blood.

How do I do this?

I also want caste specific titles, like only Slade Colossi can become Hammerer and such, but I'll figure that out later.

Also, my modded Dragons are surprisingly badass, they actually get Slade and Adamantine Colossi kills sometimes.

Also Slade and Adamantine Colossi keep driving Titan's extinct, but that's to funny to get rid of.

its not possible. magma can't be modded. you could always raise the fixed temperature of their blood to something completely obscene however...

So there's no magma template or anything?

They don't HAVE blood right now so I'll have to deal with that first, But otherwise...

Hey...

What's that code to make a creature permanently on fire?

EDIT: NOW I GET IT! The reason Dragons kept killing so many Colossi was because I forgot to give Adamantine and Slade Colossi [FIREIMMUNE_SUPER].

Now I gotta re gen the world... Again.

EDIT2: Better, but the Dragons are still winning, just not as much, good, then they're legitimately badass.

Also, the Green Death from the HTTYD mod is a beast, I can't find a single one that died during world gen, and they go through Slade Colossi like tissue paper.

Also, it seams that the Megabeast version of the same creature, with the same raws, are stronger then their civ versions, or at least, the Colossi are.

How do I do this?

Just a guess, but [BLOOD:INORGANIC:BASALT:LIQUID] ought to do it.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Or if you still want it burning hot, use a local creature mat, give it a mat_fixed_temp and keeping the melting and boiling points insanely high, and there you go. Use a room-temp ignite point for more fun.

I don't know if this suits your purposes, but Magma Men in the raws have a makeshift form of magma innards which I used for my creations (with some testing).  I don't know how well it fits what you are doing, but my creature in question is currently the following:
