Same goes for Native, from what ive heard you were in a beginner and it did go south something fierce,  would like to see why.

It went South for town. I was lucky enough to be scum that game. The town was disorganized and had people like Jet giving false scumtells up the ass and just asking for a lynch. By the time it was down to LYLO, both of us scum were still around and, despite my scumbuddy's slight slip, the vote was still split and we managed to tie the votes at the last minute of the day, literally. It also didn't help that there were two or three replacements, including both of the scum, so that threw town even further off.

It wasn't a really good game simply because of the number of lurkers, replacements, and scummy town.

I've played a few games only on the Bay12 forum (5-7, maybe?), although I've only played one game in the last few months. I consider myself to be somewhere between "novice" and "moderately skilled."

Considering your lack of recent activity, how do you expect your performance to be during this game?

I think it's merely flavor flavor.  I'm here, as far as I know.  No common theme- everyone chose their own costume!

Fair enough, unvote. But, although each one chose their own costume, do you think there is a common theme on how the costumes interact with each other, the fact that they were immaterial, or the whispering? is there another interesting thread at which to pull?

It'll be hard to say that for sure until I know of roles beyond my own.  When people's roles start flipping, we'll know more.

While I'm at it, IronyOwl:  Which two people here do you think would make the best scum duo?  Why?

Yeah, in-joke of sorts after the VM series, and fun to throw into a game like this, but meaningless, so I unvote to avoid confoosing you. Still Jokerman, since you picked up the baton, same questionas as Person: tell me about your thoughts about factions this game, and about ghostly flavour.

NativeForeigner, tell me about yourt thoughts on lurkers, and how quickly shoudl they be lynched?

Nirur, I don't think we've shared a game so far; tell me something about your playstyle that I should know; the kind of thing that if I had a meta-based read about you I'd know already, please.

Jokerman, one more follow-up: in the last game we shared as players (Aliens/Zombie/Demons) you and I were town, but I ended up hammering you because you refused to participate in RVS... What have you leaned from this? Have you changed your stance about RVS? Will you participate fully in it (you have so far, but with a disclaimer)? Or do you think I should rethink my strategy of lynching all lurkers?

PPE: Toaster: I'm always interested in flavour. It's the flavour that makes a game, otherwise we'd play on IRC; it informs it and contains it, even if it does not affect it (and maybe it does, we don't know, so I ask). Ghosts are inherently interesting critters, aren't they? Why aren't you?

Going by my first experience with lurkers, brief clash with lurking, and Vengeful Mafia's failure to launch due to lurking, I feel that should their lurking remain a problem, they should have pressure put on them by day 2.

Zathras: Given that it's BYOR, I think it's safe to assume we have a Survivor, scum and town (obviously), and mmmmmmaybe a third-party like an Exterminator-type thing (Arsonist or whatever), but I'd be hesitant to include that last.

In all honesty, what happened in that game doesn't change my stance at all. I think that the RV phase is a stupid waste and I'll participate when it's time to participate. In some games, like this one, that happens pretty damn quick; I seem to recall that A/Z/D took a while to really get rolling. I think that lynching all lurkers is a stupid policy - always have, always will. There are better things you can do with your time, like actually hunt for scum instead of going after someone you know won't defend themselves. If you're completely convinced that all the active players are town, then I can see going after lurkers.

Native: I don't really care. If he lacks respect for skills, that's cool - I'm not looking for his approval in any way. (Plus I've probably won more games than he's even played in.)
