1058: You feel vast amounts of glee when you're taking a multiple choice question test and the answer to question 40 is D.
and 23 is A
(this happens to me all the time...)

I took a test today, and 23 was 'A', and 40 was 'D'. I was really disappointed in myself for noticing. In fact, I'm disappointed in myself for getting the joke at all.
ha.
ahaha.
ahahahahahahaha.

Its the version numbers. Basically, 23a was the first version and 40d was the second. We are in the third version, which is confusingly either called  .31 or DF2010.

Slightly more complicated:
v0.23.130.23a was the last 2D version released.
v0.28.181.40d was the last official version before the materials rewrite.  Versions with 40d followed by a number were test versions for the OpenGL graphics, which help with FPS.
v0.31.01 was released in April of 2010, after 19 months without a major release.  It was dubbed "DF2010" by the forums even before it was released, and included changes to healthcare, the military, combat, materials, and HFS.

This announcement brought to you by the Dwarven History Channel.  Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.  The other half is magma.

Also, obviously, magma avalanches and tsunamis weren't exactly a contingency covered in the mission briefing.
I can assure you that Ardentdikes is not the first fortress to be flooded with magma. What's unusual is that we actually meant to flood it with magma.

Engarde!

My money is on the worgen.  He is dapper...and has sharp teeth.   And may or may not lift a chariot over his head and try to beat you to death with it.

573: Your chessboard has 30? pieces.
This is where I currently am in the compilation.

...Anybody have any idea what this is supposed to mean? This one honestly stumps me.
