You know what would be really funny?  I'm a pretty strong supporter of beardless female dwarves (or opponent of bearded female dwarves), but I wind up being the only person in the thread not bothered by pictures of bearded women.

I don't know why someone would be against bearded woman in the first place, let alone one in a race known for having beards.

Because there's more to dwarves than just beards?  There's things like getting drunk and not realizing they're on fire and building orbital magma launch facilities, or prefering mermaids for their being frollicking finned moneysacks and the like.  It's getting fixated on one bland, tired stereotype when there are so many other, fresh ones to choose from?

Actually, it would be a biological thing, since the entire develop a beard/don't develop a beard thing is a sexually dimorphic trait that can only evolve specifically for the purposes of attracting mates.  That's sort of why we are repulsed by bearded women.

But I'm derailing this too much, aren't I?

I mean the fact that every Dwarf has a beard. Males of all these humanoid species can grow beards, but Dwarven culture ensures that 99% of male Dwarves choose to.
