I think it would depend on a) how much god power you use, b) who you tried to burn alive (i think you would get a big bonus if it was in your tribe, and i would get a bonus if its in mine), and c) what you roll d) if any other gods help/oppose you

But i think your odds aren't very good if it is someone in someone elses tribe.

Uuh. It's kinda closed until one of us accidentally ****s up and creates another god accidentally. Also, I don't think each of us can easily interact with another's followers. That's why Zerg can't identify the cultists, isn't it?

Yup, 6 people on the waiting list right now, you could get on the list, but i sorta doubt that we will ever get through the 6 people on it right now.

And no fan, the reason he can't find who is in the cult is that the cult members worship a god of secrecy. But once he finds out who is in the cult, then he would probably be able to kill them with his god powers if he wanted (since he has like 9 times the power intake of the cult god, although it would easier be better to have his humans do it.).

We may be gods, but we really shouldn't have that much power in people who don't believe in us. I mean, I can't just strike down Kaguro's little mage. Believe me, I would if I could.

Also...9 times the power intake? That's a little specific...this must mean...YOU ARE THE OBJECT OF THEIR WORSHIP!

By the way, I am reasonably sure that the cult is related to those freakin' energy ribbons.

So, lets say I tried to burn someone alive.
Would another God of equal power be able to stop me, since one of my domains is fire?
It would be a direct contest between the powers of the two gods. The other god could attempt to stop you absolutely. Depending on how he did so, (whether stopping the fire, conjuring water, simply removing the person you're trying to burn, etc) he may get a bonus or penalty and then I would roll it and tell you what happened. With your domain as fire, you would have the edge in the test meaning a tie would go to you.

Also, I don't think each of us can easily interact with another's followers. That's why Zerg can't identify the cultists, isn't it?
Actually you can interact with anyone you want to, but direct involvement with another god's followers may be seen as an act of hostility.

Well it isn't a 'god' of secrecy, it is some entity they have imagined and now worship. It could become a god, or a daemon, or any number of things depending on what happens to the cult. You are shaped by your worshipers as much as you shape them, after all.

Also...9 times the power intake? That's a little specific...this must mean...YOU ARE THE OBJECT OF THEIR WORSHIP!

By the way, I am reasonably sure that the cult is related to those freakin' energy ribbons.
I think he said 9 times the power because I told him the cult has about 12 members, but he has two tokens which represents 200 useful, productive members of the tribe so really its more like the cult is diverting 12/200 of his power, or 6%. Its a marginal amount, but left unchecked it could grow, and because the focus of their worship is secrecy it is very hard to identify them. As you watch one, something distracts you momentarily and you lose him in the crowd, that sort of thing. The belief of mortals has real power.

The energy ribbons are your tie to your worshipers, with their belief flowing up to you from the mortal world.

I was referring to the dark ones that Kaguro won't tell me about so that I can harness their power.

Ahh ok, I was confused by your use of ribbons plural. There is only one dark ribbon that Wise One has found.

Fan, Im fairly sure It would be at least two against one if you attempted to strike down the mage. You will just have to sit and watch as more and more of them spring up :D
