As you can see, you all have 1 black token. This is your tribe, and represents approximately 100 people who are able to work. The tribe contains more people than that, but they are abstracted for our purposes unless they become important.
I will only be explaining things as we go, because you are new entities and are still learning how the world works.
A black token can be given the following seasonal activities:
Army Service - The black token becomes a red military token. The people spend the season arming themselves as best they can. At the end of the turn they become a red token representing 50 fighting men. They aren't particularly well-trained or well-armed, but they are a damn sight better than civilians.
Construction - The people work together to build something which provides a benefit. Constructions often take more than one season, but unfinished constructions can be put off and finished later.
Migration - The people uproot and move to a new tile, spending the entire season moving to a new hex and setting themselves up to survive there. The token may move to any adjacent territory.
Nothing - The people spend the season celebrating and making merry, and by 'making merry' I really mean 'making babies.' This is the only way to generate new tokens. A black token given this order has a chance, depending on the quality and current population of its tile, to create a white token.
Worship - The people spend the season enacting holy rituals and worshipping you. The token generates double the normal belief this turn.
