Because i think technology theft would be pretty difficult. If you send someone to my tribe without the intent of trading (or some other purpose that i agree too), then i would either kill him or keep him prisoner.
so trading>stealing because it's easier basically.

Secrecy around your tribe is impossible as far as i know, although you can keep stuff you are inventing secret, everything else is pretty out in the open.
Garg, waiting for forsaken to get on and start the new season is annoying.
