I'm not so sure about the queen yet, guys, but I am getting more and more confused with that spirit of the volcano or whatever. keeping with the theme of the story, anything that is not normal to us is a fairie. and You guys pretty much lost me with everything else. how the heck is a volcano spirit supposed to influence a story like this?

Bio: He was part of (insert nation heres) military before first coming into contact with (either some specific character or just the supernatural in general) was later thrown out of the military and has been living rough on the streets since trying to drink away this second world he has now become aware of.

well iwas thinking that the leader may not always be female (thoughh most of the chracters do seem to lean toward feminine) and i dont think if its a alpha dog type society then a royal name isnt really appropriate.

it should be something more ominous like the director or something like that. i feel "Queen" doesnt fit the title of a leader whos people are meant to be hidden.

Meh. The Master? The Overlord? The Spider? The Director? The Queen? The King? Him? Her? He Who Must Not Be Named?
 It doesn't really matter what you call a leader. They all can end up looking stupid or scary depending on how they are written about.
The Director has a slight corporate feel to it though, you know? I'm going to suggest if we change from royalty to choose a nature related title. To keep in with how Fae are normmaly(?) written about. Or at least because I think Spider is a cool name.

I'd say keep it simple as possible, just use Him or Her and sometimes the honorary "The all-seeing" for special occasions.

Ummm.... I've already used the word queen numerous times in the first chapter.  I had forgotten to tell you guys. anyway, the first update will be in a different topic. I'll have it done either by the end of this weekend or on tuesday at the latest, and this thread will become the spoiler thread.

now for something that you guys can do... there are still two characters that could be designed, though I'm not sure I need anymore.

There will be more things that come up as the story progresses and I'll have you guys debate as to the nature of what I'm asking you for.

Bio:  is related to the scientists somehow either a relative or some other relation
Personality: He likes to get his messages across accurately. this is sign of distrust he will often speak this way to strangers or people he is not comfortable with. speaking with big words and fancy language is just a front, an attempt to sound smarter than he actually is. People who he knows better he will be more lax with his choice of words. he is not cocky he's very strong willed. he chooses his words carefully in order to sound more intelligent than he feels he is. He has a natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge.
he enjoys competition. hates losing, and hates to admit he was wrong. He can be very stubborn.
