Can also mean 'Blessed' or 'Unblessed'. also, I'm not the one that made up the names. Feel free to just call them summer and winter or something if you want. they do sound silly.

I'm not so sure about the queen yet, guys, but I am getting more and more confused with that spirit of the volcano or whatever. keeping with the theme of the story, anything that is not normal to us is a fairie. and You guys pretty much lost me with everything else. how the heck is a volcano spirit supposed to influence a story like this?

Well the way we are seeing it there could be many many different types of fairies with their own special abilitys along with many unique fairys that aren't part of the established species. At least that's how I see it

At one point someone suggested that the actual story be in a different forum. now that I think about it, It probably should. someone who likes the story might not want to read the spoilers that comes with this thread. at the same time, all the comments that people might put up about the story itself will not clutter up this working station. I'll post here to tell you whenever I've updated the other thread.

i personally am against Armocks character.  just putting it out there. there probably is a way to make his character fit, but i think that all these spirits and unicorns and other mythical creatures are long gone, and humanity has moved on to believe that these creatures don't exist. for something like that to happen there needs to be very VERY few fantasy creatures.  maybe a small number still exist if any.

IDEA: she's left because her volcano, which is what keeps her alive, is actually very far away and in the middle of the mountain range where humans have never been. The reason spirits are nearly non-existent near where humans live is they disappear when the things they are spirits of are even interacted with by humans. She can travel anywhere because a few thousand years ago the volcano erupted so there's actually a very thin layer of it's ash in most places on the planet.

Yea! Exactly somehting like that! She's the spirit of this worlds equivalent to Krackatoa. The most powerful non-fae magical entity anywhere near enough to civilization to be remotely relevant to the story, and the most powerful non human ally of humanity!

Personality traits: Bubbly and cheerful, usually passive and nurturing ((volcanic soils are fertile)), hot, powerful and a bit intimidating but usually friendly, but can explode with civilization-destroying fury on the extremely rare occasions she does get truly upset.
