Greetings!
I'm starting a new RtD! The setting will be in a middel european country, in the time when there were kinghts and when a man (or womans!) courage could overthrow an army. For characters, go wild! Want a knight who is out for revenge for his fathers death? Or maybe a traveling Ronin from the far east in search of a secret to bring back to the emporer?
I'm going to accept five to start with, the rest I'll add in at a later date. When I get five I'll type up the first story turn.

Occupation=Are they a knight? Magician? Ronin?
Items=what equipment do they use?
Special Move=All anime characters have a special move! A name for it and a description of all the flashy lights!
Bio=NEEDED! It doesn't have to be long, even bullet points of things that happened in their life and what they want but even secondary characters have some thoughts in their backstory.

Items= cool magician's hat, thin leather armor, willow wand with a tiny ball of glass at the end, shoes, spare clothes, backpack, mana-storing dagger, cloak
Special Move= Revail of a Hero; All the souls of heros who have failed in their quests comes to his aid, giving him an inpiercable shield and sword. they are imbued with all their skills. as soon as Lucifer's danger is over, the items dissappear.
Bio= Lucifer was once a happy kid. he lived with a group of nomads who traveled the world and performed amazing shows. it was from them that he learned his unique magic, though much weaker than it is today. the nomads often came and went from the caravan, so he never really knew anyone for very long, not even his own parents, until a man crossed his path. a man wearing a cool magician's hat and cloak. the man's name wass Grazzan and he was a mage. he took the young Lucifer under his wing and raised him to use his magic responsibly.
Name= Bothwald
Occupation= Necromancer
Items= Magic Staff, wizard's hat, robes, an undead squirrel named Nutter.
Special Move= Lightslayer beam. Magic runes float around him, ominous Latin chanting appears from nowhere, and tendrils of darkness reach out to suffocate all light near him. Then he releases a massive black beam of dark energy from his magic staff. Anyone killed by the beam is automatically turned into an undead minion.
Bio= Bothwald isn't really a bad guy, he just happens to practice necromancy. This usually leads to problems with the narrow-minded peasants he encounters, who believes him to be evil just because he wants to dig up their loved ones for spell reagents. So he is forced to wander from place to place in order to practice his art undisturbed. His hope is to eventually carve out a nation for himself and any other necromancers who suffer at the hands of misguided people.

Occupation: Traveling Swordsman
Items: Loose traveler's clothes, Katana, straw hat
Special Move: 500 Cherry Blossoms of Hope! (Go Hyaku Sakura no Kibo!): When grievously injured, Gen can have a flashback to his past, reminding him of why he cannot give up. No matter his injuries, he can then stand up (dramatically) and jump into the air. While descending, he slices his opponent(s) 500 times. Each cut produces a fine pink mist of blood, reminiscent of a cherry blossom. Gen then collapses, and is immobile for some time.

Name=Black Fuzzy
Occupation=King's Assassin, Shapeshifter
Items=Matching black shirt, pants, cloak, and gloves. Large magical dagger.
Special Move=Infinite Crunch! Jack uses all his shapeshifting powers to become a gigantic mass of seni-liquid tentacles, and crush his opponent into a pulpy slurry.
Bio=The being calling itself Jack Fuzzy has existed since near the dawn of humanity, as it is a manifestation of desire and envy. Unfortunately, being a manifestation of an idea in and of itself is really boring, so he just kind of does his own thing.
He has two "brothers", Yellow Wyrm, the manifestation of insanity and power, and Blue Iron, manifestation of creation and duty.

Name= Zante Lorentz (goes by a nickname "Mischevious Oni" which most NPCS know him by.)
Occupation= Jester, or similar, but with a thief/rogue aspect to it.
Items= A white mask with a devilish grin and two very narrow eyes, it is covered with red scars. It aslo has orange hair or somekind growing from it along his back and shoulders. (He never removes this mask, adding mystery to his character. (The mask is cursed, it have made a complete void where his face used to be, but noone but himself knows this.))
Simple white linen clothes, with a multitude of multicoloured strips from different clothes covering it. Long claw-like things on his fingers, serving as weapons.
Special Move= "Spinning Devils Infernal Claws" He stands on the tip of his toes while spinning as fast as a cyclone, anything getting near him gets some nasty burning cuts.
Bio= He walks around as if he was a hunchback, swaying himself slightly in a way that his arms is slightly pointing twoards the oposite direction of his head. Have a tendency to tilt his head often, and has a distinctive laughter even in inaporpriate situations.
He hit his age at a very young age which explains his strange behaviour, raised on the streets as an orphan. The mask was aquired one day when investigating an ancient shrine in the towns sewers, it was a cursed mask which drove Zante to madness but also gave him strange powers.
Name= Aniki
Occupation= Pissed-off big brother
Items= Wears a long, blue hooded cape, and a cloth tunic underneath that had a hood which he occasionally draws over his head to shield his eyes from the sun. The pants are seemingly unremarkable and white. He wields a longsword with a pure-white blade, forged by the blacksmith's apprentice of the village he lived in.
Special Move= He calls it "Guardian's Slash". When emotionally charged, his sword begins to glow with golden light, and Aniki moves at impossibly fast speeds to slash dozens upon dozens of times at the enemy, all while reciting a canned speech that nonetheless comes straight from the bottom of his heart :"All my life I've had one goal: to protect my brother. I FAILED! But now I have a new goal, in his memory! To fight for JUSTICE! PEACE! LOVE! AND A WORLD HE'D BE PROUD TO LIVE IN! I carry on his memory in my heart and IN MY BLADE! GO, GUARDIAN'S SLASH!!"
Bio=Aniki, though that is not his real name, grew up in the village of Halfwood with his younger brother Lucian. Aniki was 12 when the younger brother was born, and his mother died immediately after; with his father off at war, Aniki cared for Lucian himself at the cost of his own success in life. He aspired to be a simple farmer, though Lucian desired for them to become famous, and sought to be the best blacksmith to ever live. Aniki loved his brother dearly, and supported him as best he could so that he could focus his time on fulfilling his dream. When he was 12, Lucian got a position as the apprentice of the local blacksmith; after working months, he created a special sword just for his brother. Aniki treasured it, and hung it as the only true decoration in his humble house. That year's winter was harsh, however, and people all throughout the country suffered; though through luck, Halfwood had a store of food and became the most prosperous village in the nation. Bandits took notice of this, and invaded the village, sacking it and stealing all they could. Aniki was out in the fields, and was unable to return in time.
When he got home, he found the village burned to the ground, and the entire populace dead in the center of the village. Lucian was among them. Aniki fell into a deep despair, and in a blind fury ran home to find a bandit attempting to steal the sword Lucian gave to him. In a fury, Aniki wrenched the sword away, and in its hands it began to glow with an awesome power. He struck down the bandit, and then took time to think through his life. He realized that his brother's gift to him could be the key to bringing about a world where there was no needless death like what had happened to Halfwood. With nothing but the sword and the clothes on his back, the older brother took the new name Aniki and set out into the world to do whatever good he could.
Name=Kaguro Draven
Occupation=Necromancer
Items=Dark green robes, a metal mask with a smile to it, a staff
Special Move=Undead barrage. Essencially the thriller video, only with the zombies attacking while danceing.
Bio=Kaguro always had an odd facination with the dead, even from a young age. When he was six he was taken as the apprentice of a necromancer due both to said facination with the dead and his natural magical talents. He prefers to spend much of his time createing 'new' undead, wondering why most necromancers limit themselves to undead everyone knows about and knows how to defeat. He limits himself from human contact unless proved nessicery and makes his home in an old system of catacombs.
Name: Hayate Tokua
Occupation: Ghost Swordsman
Items: The Kimono and the dai Katana which he died using.
Special move: Ten point strike - The Hayate clan's greatest technique involves moving with impossible speed and striking ten vital points on an opponents body. If blocked the technique leaves the user vunerable and it has caused the deaths of many who were unworthy of using it.
Bio: Tokua was part of the Hayate clan who were well known and very powerful untill the day they were betrayed and all including Tokua were murdered while they slept. However Tokua had made a deal with a witch whose life he had saved which allowed him to be brought back and now he lives so that he may one day find who betrayed his clan and take his revenge. His former easy-going nature was now completely replaced with a burning desire for revenge and an anime-esque angsty attitude.
