Turn 10: Minions GaloreI go to Hex 9, Modify the temperatures to be slightly more temperate.
Golems, head towards Hex 10 to guard it.
Sharks Gather Sand.
[6][1] You somehow make it even colder.
[2] Your golems move into hex 6, despite hex 7 being just as fast and revealing more terrain.
[6] Not wanting to get near their archnemesis at the surface, your sharks scoop up a good amount of sand.
Defenders go into the mortal realm, looking for a fight.
Gatherers collect rocks.
I terraform the square with portal into an oasis with edible vegetation and hot springs.
[2] The Defenders are unable to find anything to kill that also fights back.
[3+1] Your Gatherers live up to their name, and get you several rocks.
[6][6][2][2] You transform the region into more of a lake than an oasis, and the edible vegetation and hot springs fail to appear.
Order Slave Gremlins to my tile, carrying the resources they have. Personally, I will try to find some stone.
[3] Your gremlins grudgingly leave, returning to your side and looking for resources. They recover meager stone.
[3] You also produce questionable stone.
[3] The Rebel gremlins follow in this tradition, getting some poor-quality food. They then eat it and breed their numbers right back up.
Have Mud Plows gather mud (via plowing) and create a basic Mud Golem Making Place (Mud Forge?) for me to make more Golems out of any Mud I have left.
[3][3] You fail to successfully command the Mud Plows, and they idle around and scratch the mud a bit.
[4] You make an adequate Mud Forge from mud.
I keep upgrading the building using average bone. Replicating skeleton creates non-replicating skeleton from bone+. Non-replicating skeleton keeps gathering.
[5] You successfully correct the flaws in the old structure, and your magnificent boneyard is now better than ever.
[2+1] Your poor-quality skeleton makes a poor-quality skeleton.
[2] Your other skeleton gathers nothing.
Build a second flesh pod farm to the east. Tell Golems 1 and 2 to gather more flesh, and Golem 3 to build another flesh golem.
[4-1] Despite the poor quality, you have a second flesh pod farm. You notice the regions to the east, northeast, and southeast are all chalky white wasteland.
[2][3] Golem 1 fails, Golem 2 produces yet more low-quality flesh.
[5-1] Golem 3 produces a perfectly acceptable, self-replicating flesh golem.

Since I was well behind to begin with, I went ahead and skipped the proper Hex-based conversion. I'll work on that later.
Also, self-replicating units can only replicate one type unless additional effort/luck is spent on them. Among other things, this means they can either make self-replicating or non-self-replicating versions of themselves, but not both.
