Quick question for a mod.....

Hey, i'm going to mod a few creatures, and add a few of my own, but there's something i want to do with the Werewolves.....

i want to make a werewolf able to bite a creature, and make the bite slowly turn the creature into a werewolf.

Impossible right now. Will probably be possible once night creatures are expanded upon.

I think the closest you're going to get is the night creature spouse conversion tags. That might work, although not exactly how you want.

is there a way to get backpacks/containers in the object testing arena??
i really need one to test out some armor/weapons, but i don't want to drop any....

nevermind, i can craft a backpack thanks to a mod! :D
now all i need is someone to tell the maker of dwarf fortress that i love it a lot, because of the fact i can customize it so much. :D

No there is not, yet. For now you can kill a night creature and use their layer. I've seen this a lot. Either that or bring companions for meatshields, errr help.

Or you can stay in the homes of friendly civs, after asking permission to stay the night, while within their homes.

Also, even named beasts' lairs seem to work. As for castles, make sure to be inside the walls or compound where the leader is. Otherwise, they will still attack you.

Forage? Tame? Or a misspell that means create? Either way the answer is no. No pets, no mounts. Mounts are coming soon though.

OH MY GOSH.

I survived 4 boogyman attacks.
with minimal damage.

i kept running in one direction, and every time a boogeyman appears in front of me, i'd hit them once, so they'd fall over, and i could run away from them as they try to get up.

EDIT:
and plus hitting them wounds them.....and so, if i think i have enough time before more show up, i'd finish the one i knocked over off, doing that, thus killing them one at a time.

I always just kill the bogeymen. Running away is for elves.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
