Guards are distracted.
Tarran:
You attempt to sneak closer to the guards, [3+1] and succeed.
Kilakan:
Following Tarran's example, you try to sneak closer, [2+1] but they see you!
You strike, and [2] miss! Guard 1 strikes, and [4-2] he misses!
[6+2] You dodge so perfectly, Guard 2 is too busy watching to attack!

Guards are no longer distracted.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Attack guard 1's weapon arm, and attempt to keep both guards attention, via feinting, dodge any attacks they make and counter attack where possible.

[6+2+1] His head flies off in a bloody arc, you have somehow decapitated him with a vertical hammer blow!

Goblin 1 is dead.
Krath:
You attack Goblin 2! [3+1][5+1+1] Missing his neck, but cutting deep into his chest, your axe destroys both his lungs!
Goblin 2 is dead. Copper armor destroyed.
SeriousConcentrate:
With both goblins already dead, you instead inspect the loot.
There is 1 Copper Spear, 1 Copper Axe, and 1 Narrow Copper Armor
Kilakan:
Lacking any opponents, you dodge anyway. [5+2] You feel pretty good about yourself.
Kilakan gains +1 to next dodge.
