This is a small personal plane designed for light travel. William got there due to being the only passenger, and having barely enough flight experience. Averill has more experience, but not experience directed for long travels.
You want him to make it to Asia with minimal fuel, minimal experience, and a full load of people on a plane not designed to make it across the sea? You'll need a 20 for each person, but it's possible.

Charismatic street urchin->Comedic Prankster
Stats: +3 mangrit +3 fancy feet +1 intelligence
Traits: +5 survival (5 total), +8 stabbiness (3 total), +4 athletics (3 total)

I might be wrong about traits being skills, but if i am, im not sure what you mean by traits. Could you elaborate and give some examples if i am wrong?

Traits are neat little bonuses that you make up. They're mostly for combat, and interacting with skills. They can't increase your level in a skill.

William got fumes Immunity from getting high on his own chemicals, and then snapping himself out of it. It doesn't increase his level in his chemist skills, but it does help him in those skills. He can inhale toxic fumes without a gas mask and remain perfectly healthy now. You get to make 15 traits, or make a few traits and level them up.
PM me what traits you want to make, and I'll let you know anything you need to change.

The sea route is a leader exclusive path, you get to group up with the others to find a plane and fly to an area near Asia to meet Ambitious Teen. Yes I wrote near, there is no direct path to your destination. Reaching Asia doesn't end the game, especially considering the level cap is well over 300.
Getting to Asia is all just preparation for the next area where fighting enemies doesn't mean accidentally beating a wolf to death with a wrench, or stabbing sharks with a boat.
