I'll go through with the update now. Since tehstefan didn't post again about weapons, I'll just go ahead and give him something ridiculous, that's difficult to use.
Thinking quickly Sven first uses the toaster he has always loathed so very, very much to break the log on a gun cabinet. The cabinet is devoid of guns, but has an unnecessary amount of ammunition stockpiled within. Sven puts a palm to his face, and nearly flies off the handle in anger at his father. He quickly settles down, and recalls the weapon stash. Sven's father had quite the weapon obsession a few years ago. His mother hid the weapons, and told Sven to never, under any circumstances, reveal the location of the stash to his father.
After using the toaster once again to break into his new destination, Sven looks carefully over the remaining collection. There is no doubt that many of the weapons were sold for money when there wasn't enough money to satisfy the family's wants and needs. All that remains is a few cheap swords of varying kinds, a pile of guns, a ridiculous amount of shurikens, and an extravagant knife. Sven applies applies an unbroken katana to his base specibus slot creating the Sword Kind, which surprisingly can hold the knife and shurikens, though it's now called the Blade Kind.
Sven attempts to create the Rifle Kind specibus, but his level is apparently too low. Sven instead creates the Tool Kind with his best wrench.
Specibus acquired: Blade Kind, Tool Kind
Gregory leaves the store, and immediately starts searching for a boat to hijack. It's far too shallow to use it in this part of town, but he figures it's something that might come in handy.
[13]
He successfully finds an unguarded boat, but he doesn't know how to use it. A worthless user's manual is sitting next to him...
William clears out some space on a table and begins his concoctions.
[5 + 2]
The first attempt was a smashing failure. Honestly, it annoys him that he even tried to do something like that, he means really! Come on chemistry!

His second explosive is an overwhelming success. This thing is not only safe to handle, it's pretty much guaranteed death to anyone that's within its blast radius. It might also be useful for clearing rubble. All the rubble. William applies his concoction to a free specibus, creating the Explosives Kind.
Specibus acquired: Explosives Kind
Jane tries to get to the Washington Monument, but can't seem to find a clear way. She parks at the highest spot she can find, and uses some binoculars she keeps in her glove compartment for some reason to scout ahead. There's just too much flooding, and debris to make it into the city. Jane decides to start driving toward Oregon for some reason.
After flying for an obscene amount of time, the young soldier finds himself not noticing any survivors. Oh, there are plenty of tourists, he'll give you that, but everyone knows that tourists don't count. Averill's last stop before Asia is Oregon, and then Wyoming.
Growing up around her father, Adriana quickly locates one of his spare guns. It's just a cheap pistol, but it can serve its purpose rather well. She grabs any ammo she can find, which is quite a bit.
[5]
You have got to be kidding me. Adriana fumbles her fingers, and accidentally creates the Ammo Kind specibus. Argh!
Okay, don't panic, this all normal. All she has to do, is calmly apply the pistol to the specibus, and-She's too low level to apply guns to a specibus... Adriana begrudgingly applies a knife to the remaining specibus, and mocks her Ammo Kind. I wouldn't mock the power of ammunition if I were in her shoes, it might come in handy some day.
Specibus acquired: Ammo Kind, Knife kind
Ammo Kind is going to be a unique specibus type. It can be upgraded to Gun Kind later, but for now it's one of the better throwing weapons. Blade Kind applies to any bladed weapon held by the hands. Only UOW can fully utilize the Blade Kind specibus, and the Ammo Kind specibus is just sort of ridiculous in his hands.
