I had planned on running this last night, but you can thank my easily distracted attitude for this random bit of late update.
While making his way back to his house, Sven decides to inspect his surroundings a bit. The damage from the flood is pretty clear. This place looks like a war zone. There are entire houses torn from their foundations, and debris from a while back is starting to be washed here by the flood. There are some survivors trying to make their way to dry land. The less intelligent of them attempt to use their cars to drive to their destination.
Sven continues to his home, if not to prepare for his trip to Asia, he at least wants to check on his family. He's pretty much the only one with any luck in his family, so if the flood has even made it that far, they're probably not in good shape. The water level is rising, so Sven picks up the pace before it gets too hard to walk at all.
Gregory looks around the city. Everyone is running around in panic, well, except for him that is. Gregory hasn't had his mind this clear in quite a long time. The damages aren't very great. Only the areas that took the brunt of the wave were damaged, these buildings were clearly designed to last. Gregory tries to go to a nearby police station, but the increasing water level makes it too difficult to open the door.
Gregory notices a local gun store that's been looted. He steps through the broken glass, and grabs a pair of keys that nobody noticed. There's a back door to the shop that looks locked.
After gathering his thoughts for a while, William finally leaves the lab. He looks around, refugees running past him. The damage hasn't reached this far, he decides that this must be the last safe area in the city. He can only begin to imagine what awaits him ahead, but he has no choice. He knows that he won't survive the trip to Asia unless he gets some transportation fast. The hellicopters are dedicated to finding survivors, and the only thing that could possibly be a sound form of transportation in this mess would be an airplane.
He can't fly a large one, but a small one is definitely possible. He begins the arduous walk to the museum, one of the sturdiest buildings he knows of.
The occasionally gender confused doctor looks around. She can't see any flooding around her house, so she quickly gets in her car to get to the hospital as soon as possible. The drive will be a while, so she tries calling the ward a few times to no avail. Fearing for the worst she forgets everything she knows about traffic safety, and puts the petal to the metal. The drive takes half the time. She finally sees the flood, and the devastation that came with it. Her hopes that the hospital was safe are now all gone. Nothing could have survived whatever had happened to the city.
She turns around, and begins driving back home to a safer area.
The young soldier tells his family and girlfriend that they're going on a little trip with him, and quickly shoves them into his jeep. He starts driving to an airport to commandeer a small aircraft, and receives the order to search for any survivors he can in as many states as possible. He begrudgingly accepts the task, and is informed that the sea has turned into a very dangerous place. He gets the message that a boat is too risky.
The flood hasn't reached his hometown yet, but his superiors wouldn't have called him out if they weren't positive that his hometown would be a part of the casualties soon. The airport is within sight, he sees several models large enough to hold his family, but should he get a slightly larger one for any survivors he might bring with him?
Noticing that her lower right leg and upper right arm are damaged, Adriana sits on some nearby rubble. It isn't dry, but she can at least inspect it. She takes some time to look around at some damages we've already talked abou. She doesn't want to go home, but she has some things there she'll need. Adriana suddenly recalls the forum dwellers she called crazy for their Asia conspiracy, and laughs at the irony. They all moved to Asia, and are probably safe right about now.
Adriana lets out a sigh, and begins her walk home.
It's so weird not having to abridge my writings, multiplayers are pretty great. Submit turn two actions.
