A new "gamemode" idea
« on: December 02, 2010, 09:34:33 pm »

The idea is, GAME EDITOR.
Dont think this is like the object testing arena, because its not.

Basicly, you are able to place animals/humaniods in the world, aswell as non-military humaniods. Also, you could place objects such as trees, furniture, walls, water, volcanoes, plants, etc. Basicly, you can place ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. You could also play the "worlds" you create. I think this sounds neat, because you could set up some neat senarios.

Also, this is just a bonus that would just be awesome, but probably not so possible. You could place "x" number of dwarves with nonmilitary skills on the same "team" and they could build there civlization, this would afterall require a LOAD of AI scripting, yes. You could also use humans, elves, and goblins, but with different building "styles"

How does this sound?

Sounds like a mod option, but as a regular feature I'd say no.

This was a dev goal under the old dev items:

Quote
# EDITORS: Draw your own region maps, create your own towns, creatures, items, start situations, etc. For example, you could create Earth at various time periods (or an amalgamation of various time periods).

It's also been frequently suggested:

wow link finder ++

anyways...

I disagree, making the "perfect" world (no pun intended, sorry if it seems otherwise) makes it unfun unless you make it insanely hard.
