The first boss is stupidly hard. >:

Also, the dark world is hard.

Also, warp zones tend to be hard.

EVERYTHING IS HARD.

The first boss is a lot eaiser than the dark worlds. Especially the later ones... hoo boy. Just KEEP DASHING.

I prefer Super Puppy Boy

(Indie game developers sure do love taking stabs at PETA.)

The second boss is easier (in my opinion) than the first.
So, at least you don't need to worry about that.

Is this game as hard as IWBTG?

Not really. Some worlds can be stupid hard but its not nearly as hardcore as IWBTG.

This is of course excluding the IWBTG warp zone, which is in fact a small bundle of distilled hard. It took me nearly 4 hours to make it through that warp zone...

Heh, I thought that article was being quite sarcastic when I read it. Was still a cool move by PETA to make a parody game.

Oi, just got through mighty jill_off's warp zone, so many many spikes. Anyway, unlocked me first character.

I'd say it's pretty much as hard as IWBTG, if you're aiming for full clear. But then again, I've never fully become the guy, just halfway.

Bought the game, because of the thumbs up here and now I'm hooked. Thanks, bitches.

Quite a bit of the worlds are pretty straightfoward, even dark world ones. IWBTG is intentionaly unintuitive and downright unforgiving all the time.

I'm pretty sure after the resounding praise it seems to be receiving on here that I will go ahead and buy it.

One question though, how do you guys play it on the PC? Keys? Joypad? Joystick? How many buttons do you need?

I have a couple of these, and I think they are great for 'one-button' games (I know the stick has four buttons, but ergonomically speaking, they only really have one). If I can't use this stick well, I might pass on it, my laptop keyboard is taking a hammering as it is.

I'm not sure, you kind of need to be able to hit one key for dash/special and another for jump.  I myself have been using an xbox controller, and I've heard the controls are iffy with the keyboard (They even make little quips when you open the game telling you pad beats keyboard)

According to Destructoid the SMB devs were so happy about the parody they've decided to make Tofu Boy a playable character in the game.

'Course, he controls terrible and there's only a few levels he's viable in... but, nonetheless, it's good to see them including a joke character.
