Dorf AI problems

So far:
-my wood cutter threw himself down a waterfall
-All my dorfes aren't getting anything done, because a few tiles away from where we started, there are two sea lampreys in the river. They won't drink, dismantle the wagon, transport stuff- they just stand/run around and quake in fear.

I also have seen AI problems with mining.  It would appear that they chose a specific spot to mine from for each tile.  I had one decide it was to walk all the way around the mountain in order to mine the tile they were standing next to.
