Japa, you're the most tolerant person I know. Who would you possibly harass?

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Ok, I place my full trust in the vegetarians to deliver us from scurvy.

I wonder if we'll have fruit trees? I can do a lot with a freshly squeezed lime, some pepper and a rack of ribs.

When I saw that the posts had gone from 7 to 11 pages, I was extremely psyched, "No way! It started?" Anyway...

And I've been doing my homework. The island will have exactly what sorts of things islands of its sort have, down to the species. I really get exhaustive with this stuff.

I wonder, are there otters? I sure hope so! They are just so adorable:

Fruits and vegetables you say? *glances at talent points in Herbalism & Ecology* Did anyone take Astronomy and/or Piloting? It'll be interesting to see how those come into play. Especially the latter.

Dammit, now I'm hungry. >.< My first course of action (aside from not dying) will probably be to set up a smoke-box.

Nobody's going to make you guys eat meat, you know. Besides, if you're vegetarians/vegans...shouldn't you know what plants to look for?

This is because I wouldn't have another source of protein or the omega-three oils that make my brain actually run than fish.  So yeah, I'm planning on eating some fish, because I don't think we're going to figure out hemp cultivation on a tropical island.

It's a ?free? game about being stranded on an island and attempting to escape. Things get a bit trippy from that point out, and at one part you run into a weed farm.

Either way, I'm pretty sure that it grows wild on a lot of tropical islands. Hemp, not marijuana. You know, the stuff we could make rope out of.

Yeah.

I'd specifically have to be eating enormous amounts of the seed, though.

Okay, I'm hosting character sheets on GoogleDocs. I've got the sheet format done, and have started on your character sheets... but I'm expecting you guys to do upkeep on your own sheets. Yes, I'll be keeping separate records too, so no writing in 12 Steak Dinners, but with this many players I'll need help with some of the overhead.

Also, to anyone who picked a psychological or medical condition as an Aspect (anyone with Nearsighted, Hydrophobic, etc.), you'll need to replace it with another Aspect. Things like those are instead grouped as "Conditions", which are negative or positive Aspects that can be countered, cured, or are highly situational. In the example, I should have put "Syncopes" as a Condition and not an Aspect, so that was my fault there. If you have trouble coming up with new Aspects to replace them, try to think about milestones or important moments in your life that defined you as a person, and pull them from those situations.

If you have any other Conditions you want to add to your character, feel free to now; keep it relatively simple and thematic, and don't feel obligated to add anything; the goal is not to share medical histories, but things like a strong Shellfish Allergy or Chronic Sleepwalking could make for interesting situations.

ex.
Nearsighted: Vision-based perception is poor, without corrective lenses.

Also nuker w, I'd prefer if you took 25 Talent ranks. Otherwise, I'm going to give you a larger pool of starting Ability Points, for balance purposes.
