For the northern alliance, I suggest we hole up in this room, and fend them off, should they choose to ally against us.  If one of us grabs the artifact, then we have a big advantage in terms of combat.

Our north isn't blocked so I suggest a grab and run.  Our fastest guy should grab it and go through the passageway I'm in to the exit.

That is true, Toony.  Personally though, I'm far better in open spaces with plenty of room to shoot.  Plus Siquo will probably cut us off if we go with running it, and the northern path is exceeding long compared to the center one; they'd cut us off no problems.  Killing them first will scatter them, allowing our combined team more time to push through.

I realized that giving +2 to combat rolls isn't so great for mages or ranged users, so I've changed the gem a little. From now, it's a +2 bonus on top of all other bonuses for melee, For ranged, the shot counts as though it was 2/3rds distance, on top of all bonuses, including ones you'd get for a certain distance, and for mages, there's a 1 in 6 chance that you can cast a second spell in the turn.

I just checked page one, and teleporting costs me one move, out of four:

Do I get an extra move this turn to compensate?
