Okay well how about just the Final Fantasy game itself?

I am the End -- "Final" Fantasy
I am the beginning -- But also not Final, as in it was the first one of the series!
Into the future my children -- And tons more games in the series were made,
are born unceasing -- And are still being made.

Aberrant Logic is what I follow;
As I swim through rivers, lakes, and oceans;
Always towards a goal, always against enemies;
But the stupid thing is is that I can fly.

I suppose I'm bound by a snake's honor;
I must stay out of the air when fighting.
But just how silly is it when I could save abductees?
Instead I spin in circles fending off UFOs.

A Boring Cartel is not what I fight,
(with the exception of the other vehicles,
whose motors are hardly competitive,
and whose guns take forever to reload)

Indeed, "boring" is not how I would describe:
giant monsters, turrets, cyclones, UFOs,
mines, homing missiles, jets, oh my!
But when I reach the finish line, I leap with great excitement!

Aberrant Logic is what I follow; - Video game logic always is.
As I swim through rivers, lakes, and oceans; - Some races are between marine vehicles.
Always towards a goal, always against enemies; - It's a racing game.
But the stupid thing is is that I can fly. - Some races are between aerial vehicles.

I must stay out of the air when fighting. - The only fighting vehicles are land/seabound.
But just how silly is it when I could save abductees? - This one's got me.
Instead I spin in circles fending off UFOs. - Same here.

(with the exception of the other vehicles, - One of the possible races is between 'warriors': pimped out and weaponized-by-gangs cars.

Aberrant Logic is what I follow; - This game doesn't make much sense. Also "Abberant Logic" is an anagram of the game's title.
As I swim through rivers, lakes, and oceans; - You control a boat that goes through rivers lakes and oceans.
Always towards a goal, always against enemies; - All of the levels are either a race or fighting other boaters/monsters/UFOs
But the stupid thing is is that I can fly. - At the end of every level, a helicopter blade pops out of the boat and you fly away. wtf.

I suppose I'm bound by a snake's honor; - Allusion to the title.
I must stay out of the air when fighting. - The only reason I could think of why you wouldn't fly everywhere is some sort of honor.
But just how silly is it when I could save abductees? - UFOs try to abduct swimmers,
Instead I spin in circles fending off UFOs. - and the best way to fight them off is to spin in circles firing at them.

Often my paths are blocked, but I blast my way through, sometimes with ease. There are many obstacles in your way, but you destroy them with bombs. Sometimes it is difficult to target the bombs
Even with a lot of thoughts, I won't be stopped. There are many creative enemies.
