I've been messing around with the subterranean humanoids in adventure mode, and they're so much fun! Like wrestling? Be an antman, FOUR ARMS! The serpent man actually has a venomous bite! BATMAN CAN ACTUALLY FRIGGIN' FLY! I completely decimated a dwarf camp by hovering above them and raining down Batarangs (aka *sharp* obsidian)!The only real downside is that you start as an outsider, so you're buck naked with just a knife and a spear. I usually just sell them both to get a backpack and go strangle gophers until I get enough prepared gopher brains to barter them back.

By the way if you don't know how to mod that in, just open the entity_default raw and add [INDIV_CONTROLLABLE] to the underground freak of your choice.

Batmen can also breathe in space, which is always helpful.

Batmen can defeat any enemy in the game, just give them enough time to prepare. Well except for the clowns.
