*Roughly two dozen Hiveships break off from the system now, slowly retracing the route of the Ark's flight, the three live machines performing maintenance on the memorial acting as a beacon. The trip is going to be pretty damn long...*

*Meanwhile, an arctic vixen emerges from the steam engine, wiping sleep from her eyes and looking around her*

*A number of side passages branch off at roughly even intervals, but the trail sticks to main passage for about half a kilometer, before following a downward-sloping side passage. A cold draft issues forth from it.*

*As the group heads down the passge, following the slime trail, a rather fetid stench becomes noticeable. It combines the worst of swamp gas, rotten meat and various putrid substances and odours. Nysa pulls out a couple of what appear to be some kind of apparatus to filter the air of any noxious substances. She hands one to Vorthon. They put them on, and continue onwards.*
