Berkar promptly receives a punch to the face.

[Taricus]

"Want help with the arsehole?"

[Phantom]

Berkar rubs the bruise that promptly appeared on his face.
"I'm just saying how I got used to people disappearing without a trace. And how I got used to it. Fine, I'll leave."
Berkar drops the delicately made rifle onto the ground and begins walking in the direction of the nearest ocean.

[Taricus]

"Er, you might be walkin-ah hell forget it" "So Lavi, how long have you known Ivy?"

[Phantom]

Berkar notes what Taricus was about to say, and throws his pistol back towards where he dropped the rifle, along with a shoddily made faceplate for Taric.
"I could have done worse, but hey, take that and stop whining."

T: "And yet you still haven't informed us as to the reason of her departure. If she confided in you of its imminence, then you should also know its cause."



A: "I badgered him precisely because I don't want to end up dead in a ravine somewhere. And I don't want you in any kind of danger. These idiots nearly killed me once when they were fighting, and two ended up dead... for a while, anyway. And I heard from a little bird that leaves bits of it in air ducts that the morons nearly killed Yumiko too, so I'm not leaving you alone for more than I need to. You're too nice to let get hurt."

*Picks up the faceplate*

Lavi erupts into a frenzy of sobbing for a good minute.
She finally looks up.
"Ivy...she was the first one that did not die. And now... she just vanished. Didn't even die, didn't even leave. Just like that, she was no longer there."

[Taricus]

*Hugs Lavi*

"We'll find her, I swear"

[Phantom]

And Berkar doesn't even hear that as he walks past the treeline. How close is the ocean, anyway? Twenty kilometers or something? Oh well, a nice dose of paradise will make the trip go faster...
