T: "Should you not wait for your... associate? All the precautions are in place and the procedure is ready to begin. Rising her back to wakefulness should only take several hours once the parasites are removed. All that I await is your permission to initiate the treatment or, if you have reconsidered, I can begin reversing the effects this instant and wake her."

*The ritual has finished, the Chaos-blessed tome successfully purged and repurposed. A heavy length of chain is stealthily nicked by several warriors from Clay's workshop, crudely scribbling an IOU onto the floor.*

*Meanwhile, Amy is thrashing in her sleep on the floor, apparently trying to strangle the water bottle that served her as a pillow during slumber.*

*Crystal rolls off the bed and shakes Amy awake*
"Hey!"

*Several Zoanthropes float into the medbay beside Nysa's bed, intent on locating the parasites in her body and trapping them when they forsake their host. The larger Tyranid designed to keep her alive now begins shutting down her organs. Reflex muscle contractions turn off one by one, cutting off breathing, digestive activity, and finally her heartbeats, her blood flow slowing down, then stopping altogether.*

*For all intents and purposes, Nysa is now dead.*

*Amy is now growling in her dream, hands crushing the simulacrum of a throat made by her bottle, her nails and teeth seeking to rip it open. It holds fast, having been designed as a last-ditch chance at stopping a small arms round or a knife blow.*

*Crystal rolls her eyes and bodily hauls Amy into the air*

*The panda rolls in Crystal's grip, reflexes hammered in by countless hours of training making her send a sweeping elbow strike with her left arm towards the neck of the fox, her eyes snapping open to better aim for her aggressor. The swing stops short with a faint screech just as her arm begins to touch white fur, Amy's brain finally comprehending the situation. She covers her face with her hands, her voice pouring out a weak tide of:*
