Berkar hums as he explores the effing Tyranid Cave Crap.

*Berkar's exploration is, by now, quite tedious. After what must have been over fifteen kilometers, the only real change has been the growing thickness of the plumbing. The main pipe system seems to go in a rather roundabout path, following the natural karst topography. Several smaller veins lead into the main bundle, some melding into the larger pipes, some running alongside them. It becomes apparent that the setup's existence has a defined purpose, as telltale marks in the walls show where the tunnel was widened by digging Tyranids. The bugs themselves, however, remain as yet unseen. However, now, at the edge of awareness, there is something... repressive, something foreboding about the place. And in the distance, a deep and heavy rumble can be heard, flowing through the stone.*

*Another rumble can be heard outside the Ark, due mainly to Amity's training session. She seems quite infatuated with her new chainsword, conducting endless weapon drills in an attempt to overcome the weapon's subpar balance. A few more sweeps through the air and the red panda turns off the weapon's growling engine, deciding to open another beverage can and quench her thirst.*

((Not really. For one thing, she's multilaterally psychotic and not hellbent on purging heresy and mutation for the Empra but simply killing what needs killing in as nasty a way possible. Also, despite good skill in mele and a disturbing attraction with flame weapons, she tends to fight from a sniper/explosives role, from concealment. Moodswings and an attitude more common to a small rodent on a sugar rush complete the getup. Also, I don't think the Sisters take in anthro red pandas. They're d'aaaw incarnate. And she's named

Amity Tevon

Anthro red panda, 30ish, about 5'2"; strawberry-blond hair, cut to shoulder-length. Athletic build.

Mercenary; Born and raised in a family-like merc group; parents, both mercs, died when she was about 15 in a mission that got botched.
Disturbingly agile and strong, has been killing for a living since she was old enough to stab a knife into someone's throat.
Seems to enjoy killing, going to the very edge of mission parameters in violence. Enjoys seeing blood run, as long as it's not hers. Seems to have a passion for flame/corrosive weapons, and specialized explosive charges.
Has multiple weapons about her at all times, from rather too many knives to dual high-caliber handguns.
Prefers to fight from afar and in concealment, using explosive charges and sniper weapons, but will go blender-of-death on anyone nuts enough to jump her in hand-to-hand.
Considering she has spent over twenty years killing people who try their very best to not be killed, one can assume her combat skills are by no means meager.
