*The Leaper shakes its head in dismay.*

"We can get Chaos to attack here,"
The radio operator comments.
"Screw's you up..."

*There is a moment of silence from the invaders, and then a diffuse gas seems to begin to leak from its hull.*

((Nanobot time. :3))

"How ominous. That ClF3 may come in handy in a moment. Or planetary shielding. We just need to hurry up and do something, I think."

Kata looks concerned.

"I'm getting the Firestorm Defense System up, if you need our weaponry, we got a large armory hidden past it. Retrieve anything you need from it, we can't, we don't have anyone stationed there."
After that, a giant wave of rippling blue energy surrounds the GDI Base, impenetrable from almost anything.

[Something Evil]

T: "Infestation? On Tyranids? Ironic... Well, if it's fungal or bacterial, microwaves should eliminate the problem."

((And fuck up nanocircuitry and mechanics.))

"Microwaves, you say? That's simple enough..."
Turns out the Ark has enough magnetrons to cobble together one big focused microwave emitter on top. That happens.
"Remind me if microwaves will get through the atmosphere or if we need to get this thing into space."

*The Nanoswarm spreads slowly through the system, and begins attacking any borzori, GDI, or CSE vessel it encounters.*

Did anybody find their weakness yet?"

"Remind me if microwaves will get through the atmosphere or if we need to get this thing into space."[/b]

*A distant rumble can be heard.*
T: "Gas pocket. Pity. Regardless... Radiation would fare best without obstructions. Like atmosphere."

*Amy is now poking the wall with the blade, looking quite impatient.*
A: "Stoop iiignoooring meee! I waaaannaaa buuuurn thiiings!!"

Kata sighs and just says, "Well, then up we go. Everyone on board may want to make sure there's nothing volatile that's not strapped down. And then strap themselves down, perhaps."
The ship is quickly prepped for takeoff and then does so.

The defense system powers down and the base fires a high powered Ion Cannon shot at the Nanoswarm. The defense system powers up again.
"Just for the hell of it."
